No, you don’t need to learn any other languages. If you want to make it easier to do daily activities, learning some Mandarin will be very helpful in Taiwan. We usually will provide training courses for you to help you adapt new environment quickly, so you can expect to pick up some useful and simple Mandarin to help you get by.
