What’s a typical teaching/work schedule like?

It depends on the school but generally you would work from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. Actual teaching hours will total 20-24 hours per week with the remaining time spent preparing for class and meeting with your co-teacher and colleagues. You may also need to assist with school activities outside of the standard work hours (Christmas, Halloween, etc.)
